I've never written anything in my life that I've edited after the fact.  I  made it through 6 years of college and numerous papers that I edited as I went along. In fact, I have "writers block" unless I just sit and write right at the computer. (I used to have to make a "fake rough draft" complete with errors to hand in with my papers in high school as the rough draft was required...hehe!)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is not to say that my writing couldn't stand some improvement and I probably *should* edit but it's just not something that I've ever done.
