Our daughter, on the other hand, is still at the age where she'll insist she doesn't like a song simply because my husband and I do.

Re: The family that plays air guitar together…?

TJG & Lisa, I think it's that the Eagles are pretty timeless, smooth harmonies with biting guitars!

Karen, my husband loves to dig out the vinyl and expose our kids to it, they play it in our basement during ping-pong matches :).

Re: The family that plays air guitar together…?

This is so true! My 15 year old son's ultimate favorite song these days is House of the Rising Son and he's also hot and heavy into the British Invasion. He's been raiding my cd collection and burning them all into iTunes this past week. Now, if he had a way to import all that vinyl that I have he'd really be in heaven!

Re: The family that plays air guitar together…?

Ashley loves Hotel California and most anything by the Eagles. She also loves Pretty in Pink and 16 Candles. She's been into watching the "horror" movies from the 80's too. I'm pretty sure we're just that cool!

Re: The family that plays air guitar together…?

I recently took my 17 year old cousin and her friends to see Bon Jovi - who would think a kid would like them? But it was great and definitely cross- generational.

And Hotel California is just one of those classics. You have to love it.
